I love this poem.
“Smile” is a poem by the late, great Spike Milligan that promotes the positivity of smiling.
But was it actually penned by the comedy legend at all? There are lots of websites attributing Spike as author, but I have also heard it might have been originally written by Karen McLendon-Laumann. Update: I have recently been informed, by her daughter-in-law, that the poem was in fact written by the late Norma Cousins.
It’s a great gift to the world, I’m sure you’ll agree.
We could all do with smiling more, that is for sure. the science is pointing to the health benefits of feeling more positive. You can’t help feeling better when you’re smiling.
So does that lead on to the possibility that having a photoshoot is actually good for your mental health? I’d like to think so.
We are in the business of making people smile, and in return it makes us feel better, so please come and join in the fun at Mike Turner Photography, we have lots of photoshoot experiences to enjoy.
